The First Ever Erikomic! -part two-

After the brief hiatus last week, we are back with the continuation and conclusion of my first ever comic and commission from Keeper of Pots! Here we have Erika being caught and hypnotized by Saalim, and finally stripped down and prepared to be eaten. To start things off, I'm actually not the biggest fan of vore. Soft vore is one of those neutral things for me where I'm fine with it but I don't love it per se. And hard vore is a big no. However, the creator of Saalim who goes by plsgts is a fan of it I figured we could have some implied vore at the end!

I hinted at this before in the previous post, but I do have some words of the creator on this comic. Now that we've reached the conclusion I'd like to share them here: "Well, in retrospect, I'm not a very big fan of how I drew you in that comic. It starts out decent enough, but it kinda deteriorates as it goes. I wasn't very good at drawing in the anime style back then. But from a comic story perspective, it's quite fun. I've always loved doing silent comics because the expressions and poses of the characters have to carry the story-telling all by themselves." And to be honest I actually do agree with that statement completely.

Even back when this page was first released in 2015 I always felt like I enjoyed the first page more and felt a bit of a dip in quality in this one. Though of course "dip in quality" for a Keeper of Pots image is still a top tier image regardless. But if I had to pick between the first and second pages, I much prefer the first. And it seems like the original creator has the same sentiments. Still though, it was a learning experience for him and I'm glad to hear he had a good time working on it!

I don't have an exact quote, but I also remember sharing this comic with plsgts when it first finished as well. He loved the comic too and of course was happy that his character was featured in it. However one comment from his did stand out to me which I do remember to this day. He said something along the lines of "If Saalim ordered her to strip, why was he acting surprised when she did?" I don't really have an answer to that question either. I suppose the panel could be interpreted as he liked what he saw... but I don't think that quite matches the character either.

Either way though, with this conclusion to the comic it cemented my future friendship with Keeper of Pots and everyone involved in the project was happy with the result! But looking back on it though, it really goes to show how even a great artist can improve over time! This comic was almost seven years old now at the time of writing this post and if you haven't checked out Keeper of Pot's more recent work yet I highly recommend you do!

The Ticking of a Metronome.

Welcome back! This week we have the debut of one of my favorite hypno exclusive artists! And that would be Vahn yourdoom. I'm sure a lot of people who browse hypnosis based hentai pictures have seen pieces from Vahn around. Currently at this moment in time he draws tons and tons of hentai and is actually incredibly well known. I've seen some articles on other sites featuring his artwork too! Though at the time of this commission he was still rather unknown hehe. This piece falls into one of the many pictures of this time period, and by that I mean I was just looking for a new artist of the week to commission a hypnosis based picture of me. 

 

Though as for how I met Vahn, as well as the contents of this commission I had a lot of help admittedly.

A few posts ago I believe I mentioned my friend Etlabsotwe? We had been in frequent contact since that point, and while we were talking one day I asked if they had a suggestion on someone to commission for my next hypnosis piece. They suggested Vahn who at the time was available on Deviant Art. I had never actually heard of, nor seen any art from Vahn at the time but I definitely liked what I saw! So I figured I'd shoot them a commission request. 

 

While I was at it though, I actually didn't really have an idea of what I wanted to commission... as per usual. So I once again asked Etlabsotwe if they could suggest any ideas for this commission! And luckily they had something in mind! Here we have a simple picture of Erika being hypnotized to strip with a a ticking metronome in the background. Metronome hypnosis is funny to me, because I actually see it used a lot in NON fetish hypnosis scenarios such as movies, but I almost never see it in fetishy type work. Maybe people aren't too turned on by them?

Etlabsotwe is definitely a fan of the classics though, and I am too at least to an extent. So I was ready to jump on the idea and pitch it to Vahn. He accepted and the commission went fairly smoothly! However, as you can see there are in fact two pictures on this blog post. The reason being that the original finished product was the one with the red eyes, and red aura. I had no issues with the red eyes and stuff even though it added a more magical element to the picture, but the original completed commission was missing my navel piercing. 

 

I did bring it up to him and asked if he could add it afterwards. However instead of just adding it, he also made the aura green as well as giving me my proper eye color. And all of that on a completely separate picture, rather than just editing the original. Why did he do that? Well I don't actually know to be honest. My memory is a bit hazy, but during the time he was working on this drawing, I had some casual conversations with him and the subject of reaching 100 pictures on Hypno Hub came up. Maybe he wanted to do an alt version to help in terms of quantity? 

Regardless, we ended up with two separate uploads for the Hub! So you can take your pick on whichever you prefer I suppose between the evil aura magically emanating from a cursed metronome, or the more traditional looking one. Usually when I do these blog posts I feature the original as the "big" picture with the alts as the smaller thumbnails, but for this I decided to use the alt as the main headline for this post. Mostly because I feel like it's the "definitive" version as it features my navel piercing, and captures a more traditional approach to metronome hypnosis instead of a magical one.

The First Ever Erikomic!

A few weeks back, I remember posting a sketch done by the wonderful Keeper of Pots. That sketch was done after I had met him of course, however the reason I had initially contacted him was for this very commission! As a quick rundown, I initially found Keeper of Pots on Hypno Hub and contacted him privately for a comic commission. His initial work was incredibly well done, especially the backgrounds. And of course I HAD to get a comic commission since it seemed that's what he specialized in.

As for the idea itself, well it's your basic "girl gets lost in the jungle and gets hypno snake'd" as per usual. The snake featured in this drawing is actually owned by a different artist known as plsgts. The reason why his snake was used instead of the standard Kaa was actually because during the time I really wanted to get a commission from plsgts, however he had already long closed his commission window. So I figured the next best thing, was to have his character show up in this comic and since he seemed to know Keeper of Pots and was a fan of him, I figured now would be the time to get a picture with me and Saalim.

 

As per the title of this post, this is actually the first ever comic I've commissioned of myself. Which even today, aren't as many as you may think. There are definitely more Erika comics to come in the future but this is the one that started it all! This is also actually a two page comic. I was debating whether or not adding BOTH pages to this post, but in the end I decided against it. Mostly because I'm doing my best to upload these pictures in chronological order and there was a few days gap in between both posts.. and in that time gap there was one other picture posted between the two pages, which we will see next week. This "rule" isn't absolute though and maybe at some point in the future will change. Just the whims of how I'm feeling now say "Let's do two separate posts!" and so it shall be.

 

Despite this definitely showing it's age compared to Keeper of Pot's more recent work, I'd say the charm was there. I commissioned him because of his great expressions as well as fantastic backgrounds, and he certainly did NOT disappoint. I do have a quote from him as well about his thoughts on the comic, but for now I'll save it for the second page's blog post. As a fun little bit of trivia For the longest time I used panel eight of this comic as my avatar on Hypno Hub. I definitely love that "in the process of being hypnotized" face. It was only replaced with a face from a different Keeper comic we will see in the future.

(Also in almost all of Keeper of Pot's drawings he has a hidden cameo of his yellow pudgy bird named Pooks. He's usually somewhat in plain sight but this is definitely one of the times where he's incredibly hidden. Can YOU find him in here? I know I couldn't without asking...)

"I suck at coming up with titles." - Erika 2021

Usually these days whenever I commission someone, I usually find an artist who's art style I already like as well as someone who draws content similar to what I'll be commissioning. For example, if I'm looking for a snake artist I'll commission someone I've seen draw snake art before. This is not an example of that. This piece is by Kobi-Tfs over at Deviant Art, who while is no stranger to hypnosis... is definitely a stranger to snake based commissions.

Of course, I don't mean that in any kind of negative way. I think this picture looks great! I just figured I'd say that because anyone who is familiar with his work are probably more used to seeing bimbofication, breast expansion, transformation, and other things of the like. Those aren't really my interests to be honest... but I AM actually a big fan of his art style. I don't remember when I first found him, but since he does do a fair bit hypnosis and mind bending content, I had already been well aware of him at this point. And since I had begun commissioning people en masse at this point, I figured I'd try my hand here as well.

Of course, he had no complaints about doing my commission and everything went smooth. I had an idea of what I wanted already, with a bust up shot of me being hypnotized by a snake with it's tail reaching down my shirt to add that bit of lewdness to it. Any thing else, he added himself such as the color of the snake as well as my expression in the picture. I didn't really take note of it back then, but I'm actually a fan of the cross eye plus Kaa eyes combo in certain scenarios. So that's definitely something I appreciate a lot more now in retrospect! Same actually goes for the ahegao expression, which at the time I thought nothing of but now I appreciate a lot more.

But yeah, outside of the tidbit of this picture most likely being Kobi-Tfs' ONLY snake drawing ever, I don't think there is much else to add here. (Don't quote me on that though. Kobi has done A LOT of art work of the years and is still constantly making great stuff. I also wouldn't be surprised if I missed a snake drawing here or there) The commissioning process was smooth and everything turned out well. I'd say it still holds up even now! 

 

One funny thing I'd like to randomly mention though... as I said that Kobi usually does transformation and bimbofication typed works right? When this was uploaded to Deviant Art, I remember someone in the comment section asked if the snake was "turning her blonde" in reference to the two tone hair color. I can't blame him for that, since that's the kind of content they'd usually see here... but yeah I could totally see that being a thing. Especially with the snake's scale color. So that was a kind of amusing interpretation of the picture!
