The first post! ... And an introduction~

Greetings everyone! This is the first blog post in my new blog "Erika's House of Hypnosis" woo! I wanted this first post to be a quick introduction about this blog and why it exists in the first place.

So to start off some of you may know me and others may not. If you follow some hypnosis based fetish art you might've seen me around. I'm that one blonde and black haired girl that shows up every now and then. I've just commissioned or been gifted many pieces of art featuring myself over the years so if you've seen me around in multiple works that'd be why.

Originally I would gather all works on the website Hypnohub but over the years due to policy changes and some other issues I've had, I ended up distancing myself from that site. I kind of wanted a place where I have control over what goes up and stays up and so I decided to start up this blog. I'm not really looking for popularity so I don't mind if this blog falls into obscurity, or if no one even reads this introductory message. In the end I just want a place where I can store all the Erika works that have shown up over the years without fear of them being purged without my say in it.

The way this blog will work is pretty much I'll be uploading all the media related to me that I've accumulated over the years in chronological order (or at least my best attempt at chronological order) with a bit of a blurb at the bottom from myself giving the reader a bit of insight into the picture if possible. I hope you enjoy your stay here!

Oh and while I will be uploading future commissions and the like here that doesn't mean I'm against someone else reposting them onto the Hub. I personally will not be posting there but if you wish to upload pictures of me there or just lifting pieces from here onto there I don't mind whatsoever. I still like the Hub after all!

And finally I wanted to give a special shout out to Keeper of Pots for helping me out immensely with the start up of this blog. The header, background, and profile picture were all designed by him. He also helped come up with the title and helped me with technical issues when starting this out, so mad props to him!

(PS. Don't mind the publish date of this post. You can't edit the order of posts on this site so the best you can do is edit the publish date. I just want this introductory message to be the first thing that shows up.)

  1. Quick Question; do you have much IRL experience with hypnosis? If so, what is your favorite?

    1. I used to be more active when it came to IRL hypnosis. Back in the day, I'd listen to a lot of MP3 files, or find people to hypnotize me in online communities.

Though that kind of lead to some bad experiences, and nowadays my interest in real hypnosis is very limited. I only practice it with one person whom I trust a lot.

      Delete
    2. I wont pry if those experiences were uncomfortable. But would you consider yourself easy to hypnotize like the you in artworks?

      Delete
    3. Hmm... well at the time I'd definitely say yes! Back when I practiced real life hypnotism, I was VERY easy to induce. So much so, that it negatively impacted my daily life at points.

There will be a comic posted on here at some point that is a real story of how I was accidentally hypnotized at a museum. This was because, I used to not only frequently practice hypnosis, but also because I would brainwash myself with a file that made it easier to attain a state of trance from all sources.

These days though, I don't really ever listen to hypnosis mp3s and like I said, I only focus on hypnosis with a person I trust. They say that I'm still a very good sub, but I wouldn't say I drop after looking at a spiral for awhile.

    1. Well, I'll be saving a full write up of the story when the picture gets posted here, sometime in the future. However, if you're interested you can see the picture, and come to your own conclusions! It's fairly straightforward.

    2. Have you ever been a dom in hypnosis sessions?

      Delete
    3. I don't dom over the internet, no. But I do have knowledge and skill when it comes to hypnotizing people, and I have done so in person.

      Delete
    4. Do you look like your counterpart?

      Delete
    5. Well I did design this persona to look like me, so I'd hope so! Before I had a lot of reference images of myself on the internet, I used to use photos of myself for artists to draw off of.

Over the years there have been a fair bit of deviation though. Trust me, I'm not as busty as I look in some of those drawings... But besides that, I'd say it's fairly accurate. A lot of the clothing in the drawings are straight up from my wardrobe IRL.

The only distinction is the hair. I dye my hair a lot, and have a lot of variation. However for hypnosis pictures and the like, I stick with the blonde/black variant. Since that's what I had when this all started, and changing the hair color to be consistent with my real one would be confusing.

    6. How much do commissions often cost you?

      Delete
    7. That depends on the artist! Some artists definitely cost more than others. On average I'd say between $30 - $80, with the most expensive commission I got being around $150.

      Delete
    8. Unfortunately, the artist in question doesn't want to mentioned, so out of respect I can't tell you who it was. I can tell you why it costed so much however.

The specific artist who costed $150 never wanted to be associated with a specific set of prices. And by that I mean, they charged specifically by how much work it'd be, and not by a preset pricing.

    9. What is your favorite hypnosis suggestion?

      Delete
    10. That... is a rather hard question. I don't think I've ever thought about it before. I love hypnosis as a full package, so picking out one suggestion is kind of hard.

For the things I've personally experienced, maybe I'd go with post hypnotic amnesia? The suggestion to make me forget what just happened in trance. I think that's definitely fun!

      Delete
    11. Ever been in a hypno story?

      Delete
    12. Yes! Not counting some of the ones I've written myself, there have been some kind people out there who have included me in their own stories.

      Delete
    13. Can I read the stories you wrote?

      Delete
    14. Uhhh... well I haven't really uploaded them anywhere. I'm technically not against sharing them, but I don't have anywhere to put them in order TO share them.

But I'll tell what, if some people are interested I could upload them to this blog. I'll warn you now though, they aren't anything special.

      Delete
    15. What's the weirdest things you had to do under hypnosis?

      Delete
    16. I don't think I've ever been hypnotized to do anything particularly weird. At least that I can remember... Most of it has been fairly standard.

      Delete
    17. You've been hypnotized to forget stuff?

      Delete
    18. Yes. Post hypnotic amnesia is a favorite of mine!

      Delete
    19. Do you remember what you had forgotten or still can't remember?

      Delete
    20. Well, usually I don't really remember and if it's something that I should be remembering my hypnotist will tell me what happened. After that sometimes I can recall the details, but sometimes I can't.

But I'm fine with that, because hypnosis is a matter of trust. So if my hypnotist says that's what happened, then I have no reason to not believe it to be true. But in any case, sessions are usually short so it's not like I'd be missing much anyways.

      Delete
    21. What if your favorite form of media to display hypnosis? Like on anime or games

      Delete
    22. That's a good question! A question I don't really have an answer for though... I think any medium of hypnosis can be good if done well, but at the same time, anything with high production value could fail if executed poorly.

The media I'm most exposed to for hypnosis is artwork. Heck, this blog itself is a hypnosis picture blog! And in my time viewing tons, and tons of hypno artwork, I've seen my fair share of stinkers. But at the same time, some of my all time favorite hypnosis related media are in pictures.

So yeah, it's more about the execution rather than the media.

    23. What has been the most accurate iteration of yourself?

      Delete
    24. There are a few pictures that nailed my face and hair, but not my body type. And some with the opposite. Though this is definitely one of the closest, and that has even been mentioned in the post!

The only thing off is I'm a bit more pale, and my chest is definitely on the smaller side.

      Delete
    25. Outside of hypnosis, are you still into anime and games?

      Delete
    26. Absolutely! Most of my leisure time is spent on either games or anime.

  3. Why don't you have an official social media account? Could've helped with thos Twitter imposters.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. There are a few reasons for that.

      1. I'm not vigilant enough to constantly keep up with an account. It takes a lot of mental discipline from me to just update this blog weekly, let alone manage a social media account.

      2. I'm also not social. Despite any impressions I might give off, I'm not really one to actively engage with others. I'll reply if spoken to, but most of the time I'd rather just be a hermit... which also feeds the reason why I don't make a social media.

      3. The only social media anyone really cares about these days is Twitter, and due to very strange circumstances I am unable to make a Twitter. Believe it or not, I'm probably like one of the only few people in this day and age to not own a cell phone. And Twitter requires you to have a cell phone.

This blog is probably the closest thing you'll see from me to any kind of social media.

    2. Not even like Youtube or DeviantArt?

      Delete
    3. I have a YouTube account, but that's more private. I don't mix my fetish and my real life, and my YouTube account leans more towards my real life side of things. The only exception is there are some close friends who are in the hypnosis community who know me, or some people I met in the community that I've gotten close with.

I have a Deviant Art, as that is where I started on my hypno art adventure more or less. It's fairly inactive right now, but here it is:
      https://www.deviantart.com/er-ikaa

I guess I also have a Discord too.

  4. What got you into hypnosis overall to begin with?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It's hard to say if there was a definitive thing that got me into hypnosis. I've always been interested in it for as long as I've known. Watching Kaa hypnotize Mowgli in The Jungle Book, or just seeing cartoon mind control/hypnosis scenes on TV always made me feel weird, before I even knew what that meant. But weird in a good way!

When I got access to a computer, I'd find myself looking up hypnosis scenes in cartoons and anime because I was interested. Then once I became sexually aware and learned what fetishes are, I just realized "Oh hey, I have a hypnosis fetish."

      Delete
    2. So if there was a hypnosis scene from any media you would reenact, which would it be and why?

      Delete
    3. Reenact in what way? If you mean just play acting, or showing up in an Erika related picture, then there are a lot! If you mean experience in real life though, with real hypnosis... then that actually would severely limit it.

For example, I love Kaa a lot. However, in the reality of Jungle Book... Kaa is looking to hypnotize his prey so that he can eat it. I wouldn't want to risk my real life over something like that.

      Delete
    4. I mean like any hypnosis scene you've seen in media like movies, TV, video games, or anime.

      Delete
    5. I did understand what you were asking. I'm just saying that part of the interest in the scenes I see in fictional hypnosis IS the fantasy aspect. I'm not sure if I'd ever want to ACTUALLY experience them in real life.

I love both fantasy and real hypnosis, but for real life experiences I prefer more vanilla stuff. Nothing fancy, just a classic session with me and my hypnotist. But if we're talking scenes I see in fiction where it has nothing to do with me personally... well I can get really wild with my interests. Again though, that doesn't mean I'd want to reenact them.

I hope that answers your question!

      Delete
  5. Do you have a preference in hypnosis fanfiction/stories?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I usually prefer settings that focus on non-consensual covert inductions of some sort. More points if they are creative, but also something that could feasibly happen in real life. Such as being called after class by a teacher, only to be subtly hypnotized by them?

On the other hand though, I also love monster or non-human doms as well. Which is kind of the opposite of what I said earlier funnily enough. So I guess I just like extremes.

      Delete
    2. I know you're in a hypno fan-game. How do you feel about that?

      Delete
    3. I think it's really cool! I remember Changer contacting me, asking me if I was interested in showing up in the game. Of course I said yes! After that, we discussed my dialogue lines and everything. So the Erika story scenarios in Spiral Clicker did have my input.

The character Cassie in Spiral Clicker is also based off of my friend in real life. Changer and I also discussed her story scenario as well.

I also cameo'd in an advertisement in one of Cypress_Z's games too. He specifically asked me if I was interested in cameoing in an advertisement, and once again there's no way I'd turn that down.

      Delete
    4. Hypnosis aside, what game would you ever want to be a part of?

      Delete
    5. My all time favorite genre of games are JRPGs. So I suppose I'd have to go with that! But I also play a fair bit of Blazblue, which is a fighting game. I wouldn't mind being in a fighting game as well.

Though honestly, I'd be happy being in any game really. For example, my least favorite games are racing games... but if for some reason someone decided to include me as a cameo in a racing game, I definitely wouldn't be against it.

    1. Nope sorry. I have no interest in RPing.

    2. I mentioned on earlier blog posts here that I used to RP a long time ago. However, I never found them to be too entertaining. On top of that, they take up a lot of time too... so it's not really something I wanted to keep investing into.

  7. Also, have you ever attended stage hypno shows?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I have! I've been to three stage shows so far.

      Delete
    2. What is your experience in them?

      Delete
    3. In two of my stage hypnotist show visits I was a volunteer, and the third time I was just an audience member.

      Delete
    4. What did you do in those two shows?

      Delete
    5. I wrote up a summary of my visit to one of the hypnosis shows back in 2012. The entry is available on my Deviant Art page, but I'll link it here.

    6. Will there be a summary for the second show?

      Delete
    7. I've written out a summary for the second show, but I've kept that one a bit more private. I've only shared it with a few friends, as the hypnotist show I went to was more of the "adult" variety.

      Delete
    8. Kinda weird how you won't post an adult show experience as opposed to adult illustrations of yourself.

      Delete
    9. Is it weird? I actually get that a lot. A lot of people have asked me similar things like "Why are you ok with being drawn so lewdly for everyone to see?" or taking it a step further, "If you're ok with being seen nude on the internet, why don't you post photos of yourself?"

And for me, the answer is very simple. There's always a fine line between reality and drawings. I'm into some pretty kinky stuff, but nine times out of ten, I wouldn't want to actually experience them as they are just fantasy. So by extension seeing a drawn version of me, while still representing myself, isn't ACTUALLY a photo of me. Being drawn nude, and posting a nude selfie are very different for me.

So continuing that thought, sharing stories about my personal life that kind of teeter on being lewd would be far more embarrassing than a fantasy picture of the same thing. It's just a matter of the disconnect between real life and a drawing.

  8. I guess I can understand. I'm just naturally curious. But if I may ask; on a scale from 1 to 10, how freaky was it?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Despite what I'm saying, it wasn't all too freaky. If I were to give it an arbitrary number on it, I'd say probably a 4/10. It's not like there was any nudity (though underwear was involved) and there was no touching or anything.

But on the embarrassment scale, I'd post it pretty high. Which is why I'm not too keen on sharing the story out in the open.

      Delete
    2. It's not like I have anyone to tell. Also what do you think of the CYOA that ZKO is doing?

      Delete
    3. While Zko is a friend of mine, I'm not actually actively following a fair bit of projects that he himself doesn't share with me. So my opinion on the CYOA is... I know it exists. That's about it unfortunately, as I haven't really seen anything about it.

      Delete
  9. If you mean something that's 100% made by me, then I'm afraid I lack the skills to do so. I'm not really any artist, so the best I can do is provide an idea and pay someone else to draw it, as with a fair bit of pictures on this blog.

I've written some stories, but not something I'd really want to make into a project. Just some things I used to do on the side. I am in the very slow process of creating a visual novel, but even that wouldn't be "my own" project, as I'd have to hire help for art.

    ReplyDelete
  10. You write stories? I've enjoyed writing myself. Maybe something I can help?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I appreciate the interest in helping! However, I'm not really writing any long stories or anything like that however. I just write one off stories to vent some creative juices, and even then I haven't done it in awhile.

      Delete
    2. What kind of stuff do you write? I understand that feeling. I'm in kind of a hole myself

      Delete
    3. Hmm well as I mentioned earlier, I don't really write much of anything anymore. But when I did it'd either be short lewd stories, or very long driven original stories of mine. I don't really write anything lewd anymore, as I'd rather commission pictures for my lewd venting... but as for original stories, I still expand upon them in my head all the time. I just don't write them out.

      Delete
    4. Any of them involve hypno stuff out of curiosity?

      Delete
    5. Well usually when I say "lewd" hypnosis is involved. It's my number one kink after all! So yeah the short stories were lewd, and some pictures based around them have and will continue to appear on this blog.

The original stories however do not have hypnosis in them, or at least are not a focus on hypnosis.

      Delete
    6. Will you ever upload any of those stories?

      Delete
    7. I currently have no plans of uploading either my own personal stories, nor the short lewd ones anywhere.

  11. Hello,

Was wondering what do you think of KeeperofPots' comics on you?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Two year late reply, but it seems Google didn't email me about this comment sorry about that! (Which also goes to show how long it's been since I've updated... oops)

I'm a fan of Keeper's comics, but that's a given considering I work with him to make each story. We plan them out together and I look over every page while it's being made. Though all the hard work definitely goes to Keeper, I'm just half of the ideas.

      Delete
    2. Oh wow, I thought you were dead or busy or something lol. What kind of story ideas do you pitch to Keeper?

      Delete
    3. Nope, not dead! But I suppose I am a bit busy. Still though, sorry for the very late reply!

As for the ideas, it's not so much that I pitch an idea to him but rather when we talk and hang out normally a random idea might hit one of us. We would bring it up as a hypothetical or even as a joke, and after discussing it for a bit, if we see potential then it gets added to the list of ideas.

Currently, the list of potential comic ideas is at 51. So there are A LOT of upcoming ideas. It's just they take awhile to make as Keeper does all the work and he also produces his own comic series at the same time. So it's safe to say we'll never exhaust the idea pool.

      Delete
    4. Hmmm... well, that would be spoilers I'm afraid. I don't think Keeper wants the ideas of his future comics openly revealed.

But I suppose I can give you a slight hint since you've been commenting on here for awhile. Let's just say the next comic coming up after Keeper finishes the current one may involve a multi-limbed creature that lives in the sea.

      Delete
    5. Funny you say that since Keeper just posted a sneak peek of his next comic which involves, Alice dropping you off at the doctor's.

While I know you dont want to spoil, can you maybe give an out of context line?

      Delete
    6. Well, Keeper does post teasers but he never reveals the plot. I guarantee you won't be able to guess the plot from that picture alone! Also, the comic teaser you saw isn't related to hint I just gave you, since that hint is for the comic AFTER that one.

As for an out of context line, I can't help you there since the script isn't written for the next comic yet.

      Delete
    7. Out of curiosity, have you been hypnotized irl recently?

      Delete
    8. That's a bit private and something I don't feel comfortable openly discussing.

      Delete
    9. Fair enough. Do you still plan on updating this blog?

    10. I do! Joe Schmoe asked the same question just below this one, but I do plan on uploading here again. Right now it's just motivational issues and I'm still on hiatus but I do plan on coming back. Hopefully sooner than later...
