Greetings all! Apologies for the late blog post, I've actually been on vacation for a bit there. But now we're finally back, and continuing our somewhat regularly scheduled posts. Though hey, you know what HASN'T been gone for awhile? The classic Rachel Alucard x Shalltear Bloodfallen x myself! I told you that you'd be seeing it again soon right?
As we are still in the loli vampire arc of my life, it's not surprising to see this pairing once again. However the twist for this piece is that it's done by the always awesome Etlabsotwe! There really isn't much to say in terms of how this picture came to be however. At the time Etlabsotwe was trying to get in a new picture of me every month, and when it came time to do that, I suggested this pair. Because I mean, of course I did.
That being said, as per usual Erika fashion, I didn't decide on anything other than the characters. The setting, posing, and everything really was all decided and done by the artist. Definitely turned out super cute, though that's usually to be expected. Also, a shout out for using a different shirt than normal. That is also a shirt I own in real life, and while Etlabsotwe has drawn me in it before, no other artist has. So it definitely makes his pieces feel more organic in the fact that I'm changing clothes.
Overall, as I said earlier: this is just a comfy and cute piece with my favorite flavor pair of 2016. As a minor side note though, I shared this image with Keeper of Pots before I posted it here, and he asked if Rachel actually wore socks like that. And honestly... I don't know. No official art really shows her legs, and she either has shoes or is barefoot. So Keeper out there asking the real questions...
