This is the very first drawn picture of me to exist on the internet! It dates back to late 2011 and a bit of context to how this all started... Well I happened to meet a good friend of mine and Kaa picture manipper Lompich through MSN messenger. I think he got my email address from the Kaa RP forums.
We talked and got to know each other throughout 2011. Near the end of the year through Lompich's connections he managed to get a request drawing from an artist named NeoAkatsuki. For his request he was kind of enough to request a drawing of myself and Kaa since Lompich knew how much I liked Kaa stuff as well as me being a fan of the artist himself.
After the picture was completed and uploaded to Deviant Art I decided to make an account there myself so I could personally thank the artist for drawing the picture. Me being on Deviant Art is also what paved the way for future Erika drawings so it's no stretch to say that this is literally how it all started!
Though actually this picture is not the original. The original picture was a black and white sketch. Unfortunately the original artist NeoAkatsuki deleted his Deviant Art account many years back and I don't know if he's still around.
This colored version was colored by Lompich himself and still remains on Deviant Art to this day. The artist actually forgot to draw in the line colors separating the black and blonde in my hair so the first ever drawing of myself actually didn't feature my usual blonde and black color scheme.
