This is the very first picture I personally ever requested! As I stated in my previous post, I ended up joining Deviant Art in order to thank the artist who drew me. Though after creating an account it's not as if I vanished completely from the world of Deviant Art, far from it in fact.
With a whole new world opened up to me I began browsing through various Kaa and hypnosis artists. It was around here where I became aware of big names at the time such as Jimryu or RenaissanceOfChaos. I'd seen their work before of random images floating around but I guess I felt a little closer now that I was on a website where such artists specifically made their home.
While looking through the site I came across the artist PhantomGline. He had a very cute art style and was actually pumping out Kaa based hypnosis pictures on pretty much the daily. A thought then hit me... I wonder if this artist would be alright with taking requests? I was on a high from the first ever Erika drawn picture and before that the possibility of seeing a drawn version of myself never even occurred to me. I wanted more...!
In all honesty I wasn't expecting a yes. In fact I didn't even specifically say what I wanted. I just said something vague along the lines of myself with Kaa. It was also during these earlier times I had to send a photo of myself as a reference. A lot of artists don't really like working with real photo references as well. However PhantomGline was an awesome sport about it and within around two days this picture showed up!
Unfortunately he and I aren't really in contact these days but I'll always remember this picture as the first request I ever made. Also PhantomGline is still very active on Deviant Art and still creates Kaa hypnosis content to this day!
