A One Way Conversation.

Once again on the theme of hypnotic computers, here we have a piece by httpwwwcom, with Erika once again being hypnotized by a malicious computer! Now with a bonus animation~ Though I suppose saying being hypnotized by a malicious computer, but it seems more like it's actually a malicious person taking advantage of me through a Skype call!

So about this picture, I believe if I recall correctly, I requested it right around the same time as the previous entry on this list. I guess at the time I was in the mood for some hypnotic computers! To be honest, I don't actually remember requesting this. In fact, as I was planning out what to write for this post, I was totally ready to say it was an unexpected surprise. But after fact checking, it does seem like I requested it! So using my deductive reasoning skills, I can only assume that I really WAS in the mood for hypnotic computers at the time.

However, I do remember that httpwwwcom wanted to take his own spin on my idea. Instead of going with an evil monitor of some kind, the idea was changed to a first person shot of an unknown hypnotist using Skype as a medium to hypnotize me. This still technically falls in line with "hypnotic computer" and I really appreciate the originality of it. Both back then, and even now. I definitely remember saying how surprised and impressed I was that the artist took my initial plain idea, and made it into something more dynamic.

On the topic of httpwwwcom, they have been a hypnosis artist for quite some time. Showing up roughy around the time I did, and to this day, are still active in the hypnosis art scene. It's always a treat seeing more art from them, as they bring a very cute sense of style to these pictures. Unfortunately, I believe this is the only piece we will be seeing on this blog, but if you appreciate hypnosis art, then definitely check them out sometime!

The animation bonus was something completely unrelated to me. If I recall correctly, there were some comments from people saying things like "This would look so good animated!" or stuff like that. And it seems that httpwwwcom obliged, and animated the spiral as well as the eyes, which I'm of course totally down for! I don't actually think the animated version of this picture is on Hypno Hub, despite both versions still being available on Deviant Art. So those of you Hub only browsers might be in for a surprise treat!
