Read Enough Stories to Know Where This is Going.

We are back again, with another piece from Black--Wave! This picture actually has two forms of inspiration. For those of you classic hentai enthusiasts out there, you may recognize the basic premise from "La Blue Girl" where a girl is hypnotized by a spiral on her computer screen. Then when she's been immobilized, tentacles come out of the compromised screen and then... well it's a hentai so you can guess the rest. I've always loved that concept and minus the tentacles themselves looking a bit wonky, the scene in the hentai was great! 

 

Though I said TWO forms of inspiration, because while you could say this is a direct reference to that scene, in reality I had requested this picture from Black--Wave to be a visual representation of a story I wrote a long time ago. Which kind of flows the same, but in the story it's more ambiguous if the tentacles were real, or if it was me just being hypnotized to see and experience it. You know, now that I think about it... the previous Black--Wave drawing was also based off a story I wrote! Perhaps he was a fan of them, which is why he agreed to do them.

 

Overall I'd say the picture turned out fine! Looking at myself from the back, I can see Black--Wave opted to give me longer hair. While normally my hair is on the shorter side, I HAVE had it around that length these past few years due to... worldly circumstances. If you know what I mean. So I wouldn't say it's at all inaccurate! And despite the simplistic nature of the picture, it does capture what I initially wanted from the whole request, so there's no way I can complain! Once again, the title was chosen by the artist. Most likely a mix between "I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going..." meme, as well as referencing that this is based off a story. 

 

As a little extra note, there will be a few times down the line where this story is referenced in an Erika picture. Of course, we will be seeing them on the blog at some point, but I wanted to make note of that because this is probably my favorite story that I've ever written. I've been wanting to get a comic done of the entire story for years now... but due to complications with various artists, that's still kind of stuck in the back burner. I can only dream that by the time this blog catches up with present pictures (January 30th 2022) that the comic I've been trying so hard to get, will have already been created!
