Hello again! We're back this week with another new post. Today we the debut of Psi, a very close friend of mine from the hypno art community! This is the first time he'll be showing up on the blog, though definitely not the last! It was also around this time that I had met, and started to talk to Psi. As I mentioned earlier, he and I are very good friends even to this day. Though that being said, this picture was entirely his idea, and it was definitely a pleasant surprise.
I'd seen some of Psi's pictures around the Hub prior to this one, and I was already a fan. He contacted me privately at one point and asked if he could use me in a picture. As for the picture, I didn't know what, but I was down! There are very few ideas that I wouldn't want to associate myself with when it comes to hypnosis after all! After all was said and done, this is the picture we got~ It's fictional advertisement for Mesmermine Juice in all it's juicy glory! And also apparently a lot of sugar.
As far as I know, the hypno fruit Mesmerines were an original idea by plsgts. A hypnotic colored fruit, that is not only pleasing to the eye, but pleasing to the tongue as well. So good in fact, you might lose yourself eating them, and you just might find yourself over eating... But now we have it in a much more consumer friendly version. As a juice! I personally asked Psi for some comments about this piece, since as I mentioned earlier, this picture was done entirely without my knowledge, other than the fact that I'd be in it. So I wanted to know his thought process on how this came to be. This is the following quote:
"For that pic, in that period there were some hot pictures going around with hypnotic fruit, especially plsgts's Mezmerines. I thought about doing a hypno juice with them and got permission from the artist to use them for the picture. As for having you in it, I thought there should be some hot representative for the product, and since Hypno-tan was used for a lot of stuff around I thought to use another girl... also I always think having hypno pics with real girls in them makes them hotter <3"
It seems like a lot of people have forgotten about poor Hypno-tan lately, but back in the day she was definitely a lot more popular, and apparently because of that Psi opted to choose me. I'm incredibly grateful for that, and the picture turned out fantastic! I love all cheesy one liner slogans used in this fake ad, it adds to the fun while still keeping that hypno twist to it. Also as a fan of fruit juice in general, I'd totally be down to advertise something like this. Hypnotic properties or not!
