Hello, hello! We're back again with another post, this time by the blog's (more or less) co-founder, Keeper of Pots! He surely doesn't need an introduction again, but to sum it up, he's been a great help with not only this blog, but with making hypno art fun all these years! On top of being a great friend, whom I still talk to even now. As you can see from the title, this picture is part of a multi picture series.
By that, I don't mean this picture will have sequels, but rather they came from one singular commission. At the time, I REALLY wanted to commission Keeper of Pots for another drawing. He is an absolutely fantastic artist, and so naturally I'd want more content from him! However, at the time he was simply too busy to take on a fully colored commission from me. He had other commissions to work on, on top of his own personal projects. After enough haggling though, I managed to convince him to do some sketch drawings instead. Something that'd take a lot less time to do!
I'm a big advocate of having picture be fully colored to be completed, however I definitely took the deal. The reason being, the second part of the agreement. Sure it'd be a sketch commission, but by paying the price for one regular colored commission, I instead got three sketched pictures. At this point I had already started my journey of having 100 pictures on the Hub, so not only would I have gotten more Keeper of Pots drawings... but I'd also get three pictures to add to the tag, for the price of one! Sweet deal for sure.
With that though, the deal was struck and Keeper got to work. However, another caveat of this deal was I didn't really have full creative control as to what these pictures would be. Sure I had some guidelines, and we discussed the ideas together, but I didn't really pick and choose what he'd draw. He more or less went with the usual rule of "As long as it has Erika hypnotized in it, then it's all good!" And so, this is the first stop on the three part sketch commission.
After asking Keeper of Pots for a comment about this picture, he had to say this: "I think I was quite happy with how this came out back when I drew it, or at least I wasn't dissatisfied with it. But looking at it now, it's pretty janky. The anatomy is definitely pretty questionable so hopefully that just informs the fact that I've gotten better since then. I think it was partially inspired by a similar tentacle picture drawn by RoC."
I also had a feeling that it was inspired by the very first commission I'd had from RoC. Though eye hypno tentacles aren't exactly unique per se, the posing, the Kaa eyes, and just the general feel gave me that impression! You could even view it as a psuedo sequel to RoC commission. Though it seems Keeper isn't too happy with how it looks now compared to before... and I suppose I can agree! He's already improved as an artist, and so looking back on old pictures, it's natural to see improvements. That being said, I still think it looks great, and minus some gremlin-like proportions it's lovely! Though the chibi look is something Keeper of Pots has going for him, so that's not too much of a fault.
As a final little bonus bit of trivia for you, this is the first picture on the blog that actually features straight up vaginal penetration. There were some lewd pictures, and some nudity before... but this is the first one that actually shows any kind of actual sex going on. Just figured I'd let you all know that this picture technically took my virtual virginity I guess!
