Here we are, at the penultimate chapter of the 2015 birthday batch! For this picture, we have a full blown animation done by the always incredible, Zko. This picture in particular is a bit different than the others in the birthday batch however, and I don't mean that it's an animation while the others aren't. While this picture was of course created by Zko, it wasn't actually a gift from him. Rather, this is a picture that I commissioned for myself as a birthday gift to myself.
Specifically, right around the time my previous commission from Zko had finished up, I immediately set out to commission him once again. It was also around this time that Zko's own comic series "Skypenotized" had introduced one of it's main antagonists. That being Mrs. Erickson, the morally corrupt teacher. She had a pretty unique introduction to the comic that ended in an animation. I may or may not be into the whole "morally ambiguous teacher who uses hypnosis to dominate students" fetish. (Very specific fetish, I know.) And so, with the introduction of that character, plus seeing that Zko was able to do animations... Well, I just HAD to get something done.
Also, since this is a commission by me, unlike the previous entries on this birthday batch I can actually talk about the thought process and the development of this picture. Unlike 99% of my usual commissions, I knew exactly what I wanted with this one. From the chibi bubble in the corner showing the induction, to the full blown imaginary blowjob animation as the center piece. As I mentioned earlier, when I saw the introduction to this character from Zko, I could paint a vivid picture in my head of how I wanted an encounter with myself and Mrs. Erickson to go. And Zko definitely did not disappoint when it came to realizing this vision. . I do remember however, Zko had to put in a lot of work at the time.
This commission was difficult for him at the time, but he still managed
to pull through. And as he became a better artist, he decided to tackle
this image again. Lifting my idea and doing a remake with Crystal
instead.
I feel like even now, the animation still flows fairly nicely. With most of the movement being focused on the imaginary blowjob. The body, and the hand moving in tandem, with the tongue also having it's own bit of flapping and a bonus but of drool flicking off the tongue for great detail. We even have Mrs. Erickson nodding in approval of her good student, who was so eager to learn some new techniques. Heck, even the chibi panel has a smooth looking pendulum sway, and cute spiral eyes.
To conclude the summary of the image, we can talk about the expression as well. Though I guess there are technically three here. With chibi Erika's face being one of fascination, as if saying "ooooooh" as she's being easily lulled into trance by the swaying pendulum. And in the picture proper, we have a pure and mindless expression. The wide, empty eyes indicating that there are simply no thoughts in that head. The only thing on my mind there are to just robotically obey the lessons being instilled on me by my teacher. And speaking of my teacher, the third and final expression in this image being from Mrs. Erickson, who shows a face of calm approval. Staring directly at her student as she completes task.
Overall, I'd say that everything in this picture fell into place perfectly. As I mentioned earlier, I had an idea to begin with that was influenced by Zko's introduction of this character. And Zko took my idea and fully realized it, exactly as I imagined. From the commissioner's point of view, it was absolutely perfect. From the artist's side though, Zko did have some trouble working on it, but he had told me he grew as an artist from it, and eventually did go on to make a spiritual successor as well.
