Greetings once again! For this week's blog post, we have the first picture in a set of three, all done by the artist Zorro-Zero. The title as written by Zorro, aptly describes the piece if I do say so myself, with the whole "Round 01" even hinting at the sequels that we'll be seeing in the coming weeks. But how did this picture series come to be? Well, that's what the blog is for!
Actually as far as hypnosis artists go, Zorro is someone whom I've known for a long time. Long before I even had my first even drawn picture of myself (so pre-2012) and all I did was lurk on hypnosis based art works, I did happen to stumble across Zorro. Funnily enough, I never put a name to face at the time, but I did follow his stuff. I don't remember the exact details, but he was doing a comic series that released periodically about a blonde girl who was hypnotized. I liked the art style of the comic, plus the content was sexy so I always kept that in the back of my mind.
Now flash forward to 2015, I ended getting into contact with Zorro. He happens to be a fan of girls who like self inserts such as myself, and had taken notice of me. We talked and got along rather well, as we shared a few hobbies. And it was here at this time specifically that I realized the random artist whom I had gotten into contact with just now... was the same artist that I used to periodically lurk on back about three years ago. So naturally when the topic drawing me came up, I was absolutely excited!
... However I was once again struck with the Erika Curse. The curse of: "An artist agrees to draw me, but I have no clue what I want." and the best I can really go by is just having the rules of: "Anything as long as it has me hypnotized in it." So with that being said, Zorro got to work on this piece here. We had been talking a fair bit by this point, and the topic of my likes and interests had come up. I'm a huge fan of dinosaurs, and Jurassic Park 1993 is probably my favorite movie of all time. So of course, Zorro took that to heart and came up with the original character: The Hypnoraptor!
This piece came out in 2015, which was also the year Jurassic World came out. While the other two movies left a lot to be desired, I was and still am a fan of the first Jurassic World movie. Though particularly in the year 2015 I was on a high from that movie. I can't say for sure, but I'm sure I must've mentioned to him at some point how I really enjoyed watching it earlier that year. So naturally, we have a Jurassic World theme to go along with Hypnorapter. I'm cosplaying as Claire Dearing technically, but for the purpose of the piece, it's just my business outfit.

I do have to say though, the Kaa-type eyes here are rather unique in their colors, and the special message at the top SPECIFICALLY stating me is pretty funny. I suppose this sort of thing happens a lot, which really makes me wonder how I continued to work there... but hey, working with dinosaurs would be like a dream come true to me! And we'll be seeing more dinosaurs very soon.

Is that outfit based on Jurassic world?
