Hello all! We're back once again with another new Erika hypnosis piece. This time however, it's not just me who is hypnotized. Rather, I'm sharing the spotlight today with another self insert character, the self representation of Pompom! You might remember the name Pompom from about three posts ago, as she was the one who helped animate "Erika in Hypnoland." This time, she is a "willing" participant in the picture hehe. The art has been done by returning artist EdgeoftheMoon as well, so we're seeing quite a few familiar faces!
And speaking of Edge, as a good friend of mine, I managed to snag some comments from him about this piece. He had this to say:
"In the sitcom Community the character Troy Barnes says ""I’m more turned on by women in pajamas than lingerie. I just want to know that they feel comfortable"" and I agree. This was me trying to show that
Also a chance for me to draw the OCs of 2 of my friends. Eri and PomPom. Couple of injokes in pic as well. One of the posters is a joke label I made for PomPom's home brewed beer. And of course Eri's PJs are a nod to her love of dinosaurs"

As someone who wears pajamas (and I may or may not be writing this exact blog entry out in pajamas...) I can definitely agree that they are absolutely comfortable! I love being able to relax at home, and what better way to relax than to also have some mind melting hypnotic tunes playing? This appears to be one of the very few consensual Erika hypnosis pieces out there. For those of you who don't know, I actually much prefer non-con when it comes to hypnosis! ... Well at least in the fantasy and drawing aspect of it at least.
That being said, I suppose you could twist this into a non-con scenario too. Perhaps Edge sent Pompom and I a cool song to listen to, and that "cool song" was actually music to melt your mind! I say the music was supplied by Edge because if you look closely at the music player, you can see Edge's classic logo on there. Meaning he was surely behind this scenario both in terms of the artist and in terms of the actual setting playing out.
Something I've been avoiding mentioning though is the history behind this piece. Unfortunately I don't actually know how or why this picture came to be. Even though I had asked Edge for a comment, he never mentioned anything about the history. I can only assume it was just a nice gift he made for the two of us. And in that regard, he absolutely succeeded because even all these years later, I still look back on this fondly!
As a bonus tidbit of information, Hypno-tan cameos in this picture as a doll hanging out on my left hand side. I had to mention this bit specifically because in reality, Edge had drawn my hand way too high up. So in order to fix the positioning, he placed the doll under my hand to make everything line up. A rather ingenious solution I'd say!
