Wheel of Hypno.

Greetings everyone! This week we have a rather stand out picture for numerous reasons. First off, this picture is the debut of a new artist to be featured on the blog! That being the artist known as Ara. Secondly, this picture, at the time of this current blog entry at least, has the most OC cameos in it. With a total four to be exact! Not counting myself of course. And finally, this picture is actually somewhat rare. Though now that I think about it, is rare even the right word to use though...? Allow me to explain.

This picture was actually one of the first few pictures to be purged from Hypno Hub. It was removed because the artist Ara no longer wanted to be associated with the Hub and thus all their work was removed along with them. I luckily managed to hold onto this picture before that happened though, and thus I can archive it here. Since this picture was removed fairly early on, I suspect a lot of people might not have seen this, because to my knowledge, this hasn't been uploaded anywhere else.

But on the topic of the picture itself, it's a rather fun idea! A parody on the game show "Wheel of Fortune" where you have to spin said wheel, and also guess the phrase by suggesting individual letters. I'm probably butchering the game itself, but I never actually watched the series. I AM familiar with it however, so the reference isn't lost on me at least! And throwing in a hypnotic twist on everyday normal events makes things more fun in my opinion.

 

Though I couldn't really tell you why this picture exists. I never had a chance to talk to Ara to ask why I was chosen to cameo here, or as to what inspirations created this lovely piece. On top of that, since I don't think this picture was reuploaded anywhere else, I can't bring up any comments or artist descriptions explaining the scenario to me. So alas, we just have to take it at face value!

 

Another thing to shout out though are the cameos mentioned earlier. Of course I'm here, but we also have Kassidy and Sierra (the blue and the orange alien girls) from Medri. There's also Betty (the orange haired contestant) from Psi. And I may be wrong here, but the lamia character I believe was named Aurora and belonged to an artist named Jack. That one I'm somewhat unsure of because I was never in contact with the artist, and they also distanced themselves from the Hub. So feel free to leave a comment and correct me if I got that wrong. Funnily enough Kassidy and Betty have already been featured on this blog beforehand as well.

Apologies for the lack of specifics here, this picture has and will probably continue to be an enigma for me. But even so, I still think the idea is rather amusing and I'm glad I was chosen to be apart of it.
