Here we are, we are now in the post 100th picture world! Just because I hit my initial goal, doesn't mean I was going to stop getting hypnosis pictures of myself. That being said, I didn't have an immediate goal anymore. It's not as if I was thinking "Alright! Time to get two hundred pictures now!" Rather, I was just going to keep going until... I didn't want to anymore I suppose? And hey, I'm still here getting pictures of myself even now.
Goals aside though, I did slow down somewhat on actively commissioning stuff myself though. That holds true even to today. And following that train of thought, we have a gift from Zorro once again! This time, it's featuring Yanderika! To be honest, I don't actually have any lore as to what Yanderika is... Is she an alternate character? Or just me hypnotized into being a Yandere? The world will never know. In this specific example though, Zorro actually wrote out a mini story featuring how this iteration of Yanderika became a thing. It even gives us the name of the protagonist in this picture, Sean. You can read it in the description of the picture on Deviant Art here.
The reason why I worded the previous paragraph the way that I did, is because while this seems like a one off gag, Yanderika does actually appear on multiple occasions in the future. As for how she came to be though? Well, I do like mixing my name with words if I can get it to fit, and one day "Yanderika" just came up when I was talking about Yanderes. Yandere are an archetype of anime character that I personally REALLY love as well, and I do admit that sometimes I can be a little possessive... so hey, I'd say it fits.
Zorro apparently liked the pun enough to make a picture out of it, and this picture spawned at least two other instances of her/me, so it's funny how that works out. As to whether or not Zorro made this picture because he legitimately thought the pun was funny enough to make a picture, or the fact that I did tend to display some possessive personality traits way back when... well, I suppose we'll never know the answer to that either!
I should probably have put this at the top, but just in case you don't know what a Yandere is, it's an archetype of character that is crazy obsessive with someone. So obsessed that they show signs of stalking, paranoia, or even intent to hurt others around them just so they can keep their beloved to themselves. The term itself is Japanese and see in some anime/manga characters, but the crazy stalker type is not limited to just Japanese media. Hope this helps~
