Greetings again everyone! This week we have another issue in EdgeOTM's Hypnohub 4koma comics, and the second one to feature myself. Also, it just so happens to be Christmas themed! I did mention in a previous post that I'm not exactly the most festive person, but once again, I'm always happy to be included in mostly anything people wish to do so. Although I do admit it feels funny posting Christmas themed pictures right dab in the middle
of summer.
As we can see here, the comic is about myself and Hypno-tan being being hypnotized by the shiny decorations on the tree, only to be brought back under quickly once again after being woken up! The idea itself is short but sweet, and really plays into the submissive side of myself and Hypno-tan with the jokingly high levels of suggestibility! It's also nice seeing a group of characters not usually featured kind of hanging around during Christmas. We actually have the personas of Psi, Edge, and Keeper all featured in the first panel. As well as Pompom in the last one!
I actually forgot to get a comment from Edge before posting this picture, so I'm not sure if there was any kind of specific inspiration for this piece. However, I can only assume that he just wanted to post something festive during the Christmas time of year and opted for this idea. I do know that he did previously contact me and ask if I was ok with being included in it though, and naturally I was happy to not only be drawn by a friend, but also in a funny and cute idea like this.
Also I never noticed this in all these years of this picture being public, but "suggestible" is actually spelled wrong in the title of this comic. I only found out now as I was writing out the title for this blog post! I was actually torn a bit between keeping the title of this post accurate to the comic, or fixing the spelling mistake. I opted for the latter in the end.
