"Definitely Not Kaa".

Once again continuing my adventures of looking at hypnosis based artists I came across Danimarion! ... Is what I'd like to say. Actually I came across Danimarion not because he was a hypnosis artist. Far from it in fact! I found Danimarion on Deviant Art just from browsing snake related fetish art. Yup just snake fetish art. No hypnosis involved.

Through Deviant Art's recommendation system it's pretty easy to go from "Kaa art" to just snake fetish art. Not that I minded of course but I am a fan of snake hypnosis specifically! Anyways after coming across his profile I was very interested in his art style and coincidentally he happened to be taking requests at the time! Lucky me!

So of course I jumped at the chance and immediately asked for a snake hypnosis picture but actually he was hesitant on it. Danimarion explained that he actually didn't like Kaa and found his design to be too cartoony. That also goes for the hypnosis aspect as well. He was a bit on the fence about that. Though not to be deterred, we came to an agreement.

Instead of going with a traditional Kaa picture, we decided to settle on a non-Kaa looking snake and instead of going with a color ring based eye hypnosis induction we went with a dazed look. This was a compromise we were both happy with since for me while I'm a fan of Kaa I like what he stands for not necessarily Kaa himself. I just love hypnosis and snakes! As for Danimarion he got to draw a not cartoony looking snake which is what he felt more comfortable doing.

Also unlike the previous entries on this list Danimarion is still going in strong and drawing art to this day! Actually funnily enough it was after this picture he started drawing more hypnosis based art and eventually opening up to draw Kaa and Kaa flavored eyes. I don't know if this request was kind of what helped him ease into it but it'd be cool if it did!
