Stop me if you heard this one before... So I was browsing around Deviant Art just looking up Kaa based art and I came across a specific artist. What made this artist stand out to me was the fact that the Kaa piece that I encountered featured Kaa and Noel Vermillion from Blazblue. You might not know this about me but Blazblue is my all time favorite game and it's fairly niche so not many people know of it.
Seeing someone combine Kaa the snake with Blazblue had me thinking "Wow this person is awesome!" And so I just had to contact them and let them know about how I can totally respect them going down the Blazblue path for choosing victims for Kaa... and to my surprise this artist had actually heard of me before! I didn't really think I'd have any kind of popularity or anything but I suppose showing up every now and then did make me somewhat noticeable.
Yet another friend was gained and we hit it off talking about hypnosis and Kaa related stuff. Actually if some of you were around the hypnosis image scene back in 2012 you might remember hypnochan which was a 4chan type forum site for hypnosis posts. I frequented there before it shut down and also this artist seemed to know me from there too. Eventually the topic of drawing me came up and he was happy to do so!
There isn't anything elaborate to the story but I do have to say that unlike the previous artists I cannot credit this artist. If I recall correctly he wanted to distance himself from the hypnosis art scene at one point. He made a different account and everything. Though I think these days he's more ok with I don't really want to risk it since it's been a decent bit since he and I last chatted.

This one has a real Paint Tool SAI feel to it. I've never used the software myself, but I associate the way the lineart and shading looks with that software in particular.
