And now back to our regularly scheduled programming! This is once again another commission I made way back when. I had started the big commission train at this point, as I said before. This time we have a piece by Danimarion, who had actually showed up earlier in the blog. I had a request from him previously, however this time it's a full blown commission.
In the previous blog post I also noted that Danimarion had not really been into using Kaa eyes, or snake hypnosis in general. However, at this point he had already warmed up to them, and so I didn't feel bad at all about asking for a more traditional hypnosis based picture instead of a roundabout dazed look I asked for last time. Besides that, the commissioning process was fairly straightforward. I don't have any wacky tales of trying to get a slot, or having a weird time coming up with an idea.
In fact, I knew exactly what I wanted before I commissioned him which is rare for me. The pose here is loosely based on a different snake x girl picture by Jimryu. Say what you want about that artist, but the pose I originally based this picture one actually ended up awakening a specific snake fetish for me. It's what made me realize how much I LOVE snake crotch rubs. Where the snake's body or tail is just rubbing against someone's nether regions. Arguably better than full on snake penetration if you ask me! The picture I'm talking about that I used for reference can be found here.
I also asked Danimarion to add some underboob as well. I wanted to have the top fit the bottom of this picture where it's slightly lewd but not full on nude. Danimarion also asked me for my input on the background as well, which now that I think about it is kind of a rarity. A lot of artists when I commission them ask for a basic background idea to roll with or a simple one. Maybe not even one at all. So having full input on choosing what goes in the background is a refreshing thought. The whole waterfall in the background was also my idea too, as well as having it take place at night. However, the glowy eye effect on Erika's eyes was actually the artist's idea. He said he wanted to try it out since the picture took place at night and I was fine with it.
The final thing that made this commission unique however, was Danimarion actually streamed this live to me. I don't think there have been too many times in the hundreds of commissions I've had, where the artist worked on the commission live while I watched. That allowed me to discuss what changes I'd like in real time. That's actually very convenient to me personally, since for any artists who have worked with me before... well you probably know that I tend to ask for a lot of minor changes. I just figure if I'm paying for something I'd want it to look as good as possible! But that's actually given me some friction with artists before so I always second guess myself... Anyways I'm getting off track. The live stream was a great idea!
Overall, I love how this picture came out and I had a lot of creative control on this piece. Even the snake itself is a random snake I came up with. It's nothing too special looking right now though, as it's just a generic looking aqua snake. I do say "right now" though because in the future we see this random aqua colored hypno snake around. So if anything I'd say this species of snake is a pseudo OC of mine. You'll see a bit more of them in the future, maybe with even more details such as more unique scale patterns!
