I'm going to be honest with you guys here... While most of the time I can remember fairly vividly how each of the pictures on my blog came to be, this one in particular leaves me at a bit of a blank. Don't get me wrong I do remember a decent bit but as to HOW we got here well that's entirely a different story.
The picture in question was done by an artist named FreeShooter666. You can even see his name signed in the bottom right of this picture! The artist is still actually active to this day although he goes by a different name. However the thing here is he does not specialize in hypnosis based drawings. In fact I don't even really think he has done any. Though there are a lot of snake based peril pictures he has done and I'm assuming that's how we got into contact.
That being said I have no idea how we got from there to here. I can only assume that I had asked for a request at some point and he obliged. Also as he is not a hypnosis based artist the hypnosis elements in this picture are left kind of vague but I suppose the mysterious dazed atmosphere of the picture is very appealing in its own way! Also the way we have Erika "wearing" the snake is top notch. To this day I'm a big fan of coiled censoring and we will be seeing it again in some of my favorite pictures on this blog in the future.
A fun little note is that after this picture I did stay in contact with the artist for awhile after. We became somewhat of friends and even played some video games together. About three or so years after this picture he said he wasn't satisfied with this old piece and promised to redo it at some point. Though it's been many years since even that and we aren't in contact anymore so I have doubts that he doesn't remember. It's not worth harassing him about it but I never forget promises like that hehe.
