Erika And The Coin.

 Hello once again! This week, we have a simple yet effective picture. A scene you've probably seen before a million times, but yet is always a classic if you are a consumer of hypnosis art work! The classic piece of someone being helpless enthralled by a hypnotic pendulum of some sort that is. But wait! The title says "Erika And The Coin" but that's clearly not a coin, so what gives? If that's what you're asking, then my answer to you is... honestly I got nothing haha.

 

To elaborate, this picture was drawn by Mattro4000 aka MattXenotron. We met many years ago back on Deviant Art, where MattXenotron started talking me through DMs. Most of the time it was just casual conversation, as back then I'd hold a lot of conversations with people who decided to message me. One day however, the topic of drawing me came up out of the blue. To be honest, I never once thought that MattXenotron would be interested in drawing me. And perhaps it was wrong of me to not even check their Deviant Art page, despite us talking for awhile... but it seems they were an artist themselves.

A lot of their work were mostly foot fetish based material, with some light hypnosis scattered around here and there. Admittedly at the time, my interest in feet was actually still light, but it was still something I'd like. And of course, I gladly accepted his offer to draw me. I didn't really offer any sort of suggestion or idea, I was just happy to hear they were interested in doing something for me. And with that confirmation, production began on this piece. The end result of course being what we see here.

As mentioned, we have the classic hypnosis scenario. But true to the artist's roots, I'm being depicted as barefoot in this picture. The pose is rather interesting as well, because it's the kind of pose someone would make when lounging about, but not necessarily while relaxing and preparing for a hypnosis session. So what this says to me is that in this scenario I was just minding my own business, when someone dropped the hypnotic "coin" in front of me and it immediately hypnotized me. Leaving me spiral eyed and drooling, but still holding the pose I was prior to being hypnotized. A fun scenario to imagine indeed!

Unfortunately, at the time of writing this message Mattro4000 aka MattXenotron no longer is active on Deviant Art. At some point they had decided to leave the platform and delete their account as well. The original of this piece was lost, but luckily it was already uploaded to Hypno Hub, and I had it saved as well. And of course, now it's here! However, on the original Hypno Hub post, I did link the source on this post to the original Deviant Art version. And while it no longer exists, the link title does. And because of that, I was able to see what the title of this post was on Deviant Art... that being "Erika And The Coin".

 

So with that being said, MattXenotron came up with the title not me! It's clearly not a coin, but hey if the artist says it is, then who am I to refute it? Besides, I think it's pretty funny in the end. If you ever see this post MattXenotron, thanks again for making this piece!
